El Floridita's grapefruit-and-maraschino daiquiri, blended slushy for Papa Hemingway.

Ingredients

  • fresh lime juice (1 oz)
  • fresh grapefruit juice (1 oz)
  • maraschino liqueur (6 drops)
  • white Cuban rum (3.75 oz)
  • crushed ice (1 cup)
  • lime wheel (1)

Instructions

  1. In a blender combine fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, maraschino liqueur, white Cuban rum, and crushed ice.
  2. Blend on high for until slushy.
  3. Pour unstrained into a chilled double coupe.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel.
