Penang Afrididi
Donn Beach's lost passion fruit and Pernod-laced rum drink, reconstructed from Dick Santiago's notes.
Ingredients
- fresh lime juice (0.25 oz)
- fresh pineapple juice (0.5 oz)
- fresh orange juice (0.5 oz)
- passion fruit syrup (0.5 oz)
- Pernod (0.125 tsp)
- light Puerto Rican rum (1.5 oz)
- amber Virgin Islands rum (1.5 oz)
- crushed ice (6 oz)
- mint sprig
Instructions
- Combine fresh lime juice, fresh pineapple juice, fresh orange juice, passion fruit syrup, Pernod, light Puerto Rican rum, and amber Virgin Islands rum in a blender.
- Add crushed ice and flash-blend at high speed for 5 seconds.
- Pour unstrained into a double old-fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a mint sprig.
