Trader Vic's tart Jamaican grog with passion fruit, pineapple, and a hard shake over double rocks.

Ingredients

  • fresh lemon juice (1 oz)
  • fresh pineapple juice (1 oz)
  • passion fruit syrup (1 oz)
  • Angostura bitters (1 dash)
  • dark Jamaican rum (2 oz)
  • cracked ice (1 cup)
  • lime wedge (1)
  • brandied cherry (1)

Instructions

  1. In a shaker combine fresh lemon juice, fresh pineapple juice, passion fruit syrup, Angostura bitters, and dark Jamaican rum with cracked ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Pour unstrained into a short double old-fashioned glass.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge and a brandied cherry on a pick.
