Kelly's Demise
A Donn Beach deep cut from the Sippin' Safari recovery, a Jamaican-rum-forward sour with passion fruit and lime in the late-1930s Beachcomber idiom.
Ingredients
- fresh lime juice (0.75 oz)
- passion fruit syrup (0.5 oz)
- Angostura bitters (1 dash)
- light Puerto Rican rum (0.75 oz)
- aged pot-still Jamaican rum (1.5 oz)
- mint sprig (1)
- lime wheel (1)
Instructions
- In a shaker combine fresh lime juice, passion fruit syrup, Angostura bitters, light Puerto Rican rum, and aged pot-still Jamaican rum.
- Add cracked ice and shake for .
- Strain into a double old-fashioned glass filled with fresh cracked ice.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.
