One of Donn Beach's earliest creations, a honey-sweetened tropical with no pineapple in sight.

Ingredients

  • honey mix (0.5 oz)
  • honey (1 part)
  • hot water (1 part)
  • fresh lime juice (0.5 oz)
  • fresh grapefruit juice (0.5 oz)
  • fresh orange juice (0.5 oz)
  • light rum (1.5 oz)
  • crushed ice (3 oz)
  • mint sprig (1)

Instructions

  1. Prepare honey mix: combine equal parts honey and hot water; chill before use.
  2. In a blender combine fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh orange juice, the prepared honey mix, light rum, and crushed ice.
  3. Blend at high speed for no more than 5 seconds.
  4. Pour into a pilsner glass or tiki tumbler. Top with additional crushed ice to fill.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
